Chinese Toddler ~ Bystander Effect

October 22, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

A lot of people sending me this video, and the link to the video itself had been spread in a lot of social networks.

This video showed a chinese toddler being hit by a car, and people who were happened to pass by the body of the toddler, did nothing to help her. They seem to be like a non-hearted human.

Question is, are they really have no sympathy at all? Are they really a non-hearted human?

just answer it for ourselves … 🙂

One psychological explanation which, maybe, fixed this kind of case is the Bystander Effect.

Bystander Effect is a social phenomenon in which the presence of other people reduces our helping behavior.
