the concept of Delay Of Gratification was founded by Walter Mischel. In his work, he focuses on a process that is central to personality development and functioning: “the ability to purposefully defer immediate gratification for the sake of delayed, contingent but more desired outcomes.”

This study also suggests that kids whose Delay of Gratification is High, tend to be more Success in future than them whose Delay of Gratification is Low.
